Season 2 - Everfrost Series Guide (Part 7) Building Priority

By now, we know the Everfrost progression loop. Part 7 is about making sure we don’t slow that loop down by spreading our Season resources everywhere.

Season 2 introduces several new buildings, and you’re going to be tempted to upgrade all of them.

DON’T. 

Early on, our priority is simple:

 

SMART GREENHOUSE +  BIOLAB FIRST!

These two buildings work together and are the engine behind your early Everfrost progression.

 

 #1 — SMART GREENHOUSE

Your Frost Cores should be feeding your Smart Greenhouse.

 Upgrade Smart Greenhouse

 Produce MORE Ice Blooms

The stronger your Greenhouse becomes, the more Ice Blooms you’re able to produce for the next part of the progression chain.

 

#1 — BIOLAB

Those Ice Blooms then feed into your BioLab progression.

 Upgrade BioLab

 Increase Virus Resistance

 Fight stronger NPCs

Notice that both buildings are marked #1 on the poster.

That’s intentional.

They’re not really competing priorities—they’re two halves of the same progression system, using different Season resources.

 

OTHER SEASON BUILDINGS — WAIT!

You’ll unlock other Season buildings such as:

 Troop Camp
 Workshop
 War Room
 Training Hall
 Drone Center
 Supply Depot
…and more.

Early in the Season, don’t start dumping resources into everything just because it’s available.

Every resource spent away from your core progression can potentially slow down your ability to increase Resistance.

There is an exception:

 

NPC PROGRESSION WALL

If you reach a point where you need the additional power from another Season building to defeat the next NPC level, then it can make sense to invest there.

The rule isn’t “never upgrade anything else.”

It’s:

 

“DON’T UPGRADE IT UNTIL YOU HAVE A REASON.”

 KEEP THE ENGINE MOVING

This is the progression path we’re trying to protect:

 FROST CORES >SMART GREENHOUSE >  ICE BLOOMS >BIOLAB >  MORE RESISTANCE
  HIGHER NPCs >  BETTER RESOURCES >  REPEAT

The faster we keep that cycle moving, the faster our accounts progress through Everfrost.

 

PART 7 TAKEAWAY

 GREENHOUSE +  BIOLAB FIRST

Other buildings?

WAIT until there’s a reason to build them.

Don’t spread your resources just to gain a little power everywhere. Concentrate them where they unlock the next level of progression.
